To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:

I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE
STATE OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in
Section 203, of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1947 Supplement), DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the Gen-
eral Election held in this State on Tuesday, November 2, 1948,
an Act known as Chapter 162 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1947, was submitted to the duly qualified voters
of the State of Maryland, for their adoption or rejection
under the provisions of Article 14 of the Constitution of the
State, said Act being:

An Act to propose an amendment to Article XIB of the
Constitution of Maryland, title "Baltimore Redevelop-
ment Commission", relating to the acquisition and dis-
posal of property by the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore.

AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 150, 818 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 162 of the Acts of
1947, and 62, 031 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act, and a majority being cast for the adoption thereof, it
was therefore ratified by the voters of the State of Maryland.
