To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, BERTRAM L. BOONE, II., SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE
STATE OF MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in
Section 203 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at an election held
in the Town of Aberdeen, on May 1st, 1948, an Act known
as Chapter 114 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1947,
was submitted to the voters of Aberdeen for their adoption
or rejection under the provisions of said Act, said Act being:
An Act to permit the exhibition of Moving Pictures with-
in the corporate limits of the Town of Aberdeen, on
Sundays during certain hours, and providing that at
the next general election by the voters of the Town
of Aberdeen for a Board of Town Commissioners, said
voters shall by referendum vote decide whether the
exhibition of Moving Pictures within the corporate
limits of said Town shall continue after June 15,
1948.
AND i DO CERTIFY, That at said election 207 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of Chapter 114 of the Acts of the
Session of 1947, and 69 votes were cast against the adoption
of said Act, and a majority being cast in favor of the adop-
tion of the said referred law, it has therefore been ratified
by the voters of Aberdeen.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-

at the City of Annapolis, this 24th day of
