WM. PRESTON LANE, JR., GOVERNOR. 1673

Board of Education of Somerset County under applicable
provisions of State law relating to the incentive fund for
school buildings shall be devoted to the white schools in
Crisfield.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That all moneys
used in Somerset County under the provisions of this Act
shall be expended only for construction or other capital
improvements of the public school buildings in said County,
as allocated hereinabove.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That no part of the
moneys covered by the provisions of this Act shall be ex-
pended or pledged without the prior approval of the
School Building Committee of Somerset County, or a
majority of the members thereof. Said Committee shall
consist of the following persons: Murrey E. Ward, Chair-
man, Crisfield; John B. Roberts, Vice-Chairman, Princess
Anne; Robert L. Webster, Deals Island; Norman Whit-
tington, Marion; Allison H. Hall, Crisfield; Earl Dize,
Crisfield; Edgar A. Jones, Princess Anne; Guy Shelton,
Marion; Paul Maddrix, Crisfield; Mark White, Princess
Anne; Reverend Herman Bishof, Rehobeth; and Delmas
Shores, Dames Quarter.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the provisions
of this Act shall be construed as mandatory.

SEC.. 8A. And be it further enacted, That all laws or
parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act
be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such
inconsistency.

SEC. 9. And be if further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 16
of Article 30 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1947
Supplement), title "Deaf, Dumb and Blind", sub-title "Pub-
lic Assistance to the Needy Blind", relating to the amount
of public assistance to the needy blind.
