said Caroline County shall be prepared so that there shall
appear thereon a condensed statement of the title of this
Act. Printed on the said ballots shall also appear the fol-
lowing words: For Carnivals, etc., for Certain Charitable
Organizations" and "Against Carnivals, etc., for Certain
Charitable Organizations" with proper provision for each
voter to vote for or against said question. If a majority
of the persons voting on said question shall vote 'Tor
Carnivals, etc., for Certain Charitable Organizations",
then this Act shall continue and remain in full force and
effect, but if a majority of the votes cast on said question
shall be cast "Against Carnivals, etc., for Certain Char-
itable Organizations", then this Act shall be null and void
and of no effect whatsoever after the day and date of the
said General Election to be held in November, 1950.
SECTION 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1949.

(Senate Bill 312)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (c) of Section 83 of Article 99 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish, " sub-title "Deer, " relating
to dogs found pursuing any deer in Baltimore and
Harford Counties.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (c) of Section 83 of Article 99 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1947 Supplement), title
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish, " sub-title "Deer, "
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
83.
(c) It shall be unlawful for any person to make use of
a dog in hunting deer and every person who takes a dog
into the woods or who has possession or control of a dog
in the woods and uses same for chasing, taking or killing
a deer shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Any dog or dogs
found pursuing any deer may be killed by any Deputy
