sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Treasurer, " re-
lating to the redemption of properties sold for taxes in
Dorchester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 176 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Dorchester Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Circuit Court, " sub-heading "Treasurer, "
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

176. Whenever any real estate shall be sold for taxes,
the owner thereof or any person having any interest in
the same, prior to the sale, his heirs, personal representa-
tives or assigns, or his, her or their agent or attorneys, or
any mortgagees, or other lien holders, may redeem the
same by paying into said court, within the period of twelve
calendar months from the date of the sale, for the pur-
chaser, the amount of the purchase money, with interest
at the rate of six per centum per annum, from the date of
the sales and all proper costs incurred, including a reason-
able compensation for counsel fees, not exceeding twenty
dollars, to be fixed by the court, or by agreement of the
treasurer and the person interested therein.

SEC. 2. ' And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, See-
779 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland &. Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition),
title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Installation of Electri-
cal Apparatus and Wiring", relating to the membership
of the Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors
of Baltimore City.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 779 of Articled of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland & Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Installation of
Electrical Apparatus and Wiring", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
