(House Bill 644)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 861-862, 863, 864 and 867 of the
Code of Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Parks
and Squares", said sections relating to the Board of Park
Commissioners and the parks and squares of the City.

WHEREAS, Sections 3, 6(19) and 94—101 of the 1946 City
Charter, concerning the power given the City as to parks,
has superseded the provisions of the above-mentioned sec-
tions; now therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 861—862, 863, 864 and 867 of the Code of
Public Local Laws and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Parks and Squares",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And Tie it -further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal Section 722 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Justices
of the Peace and Constables", as said section was amended
by Chapter 975 and 1052 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland of 1945, and to enact in lieu thereof a new
section, to be known as Section 722, and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 721 of said Article; and to repeal and
