disburse said funds, and also directing the Board of County
Commissioners, the Treasurer of the State of Maryland, and
other governing bodies, to pay over to said Treasurer of
the Town of Morningside, for the purpose of the governing,
improving, maintaining and repairing of the roads, streets
and alleys of said Town, and for other purposes, all monies
properly payable to the Town of Morningside, in the same
manner as is now required by law to be paid to incorporated
towns in said County.

SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the citizens of the Town of Morningside, in Prince
George's County, are a body corporate by the name of the
Town of Morningside, and by that name shall have perpetual
succession, sue and be sued, have and use a common seal, and
may purchase and hold or dispose of real and personal prop-
erty for the benefit of said Town.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the boundaries of
said Town shall be all of the land to be included in the incor-
poration of Morningside in Spaulding District, Prince
George's County, Maryland, and more fully described as
follows:

All that land known as the Sub-divisions of, (A) Morning-
side, (B) Morningside Extended, (C) Upper Morningside, and
(D) First Addition to Upper Morningside, being more fully
described as follows:

Being all of the area embraced within the limits of the out-
lines of the following plats of record as delineated on the map
prepared for the "Town of Morningside", by Charles W.
Menard, Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor, on March 7, 1949,
and recorded among the plat records of Prince George's
County, Maryland, as itemized hereon:

Number 1. Second addition to Morningside, Resubdivision
and Replat of Morningside and addition to Morningside on
June 17, 1940, in Liber BB-7, Folio 95, the same replacing the
Plat of Morningside dated September 29, 1937, in Liber BB-6,
Folio 12, and the Plat of Morningside Extended dated May 8,
1938, in Liber BB-7, Folio 3.

Number 2. Upper Morningside, on June 5, 1942, in Liber
BB-9, Folio 44.

Number 3. First Addition to Upper Morningside on Janu-
ary 2, 1948, in Liber BB-14, Folio 83.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, (A) That the corporate
powers of said Town shall be vested in and shall be exercised
by, and that the said town shall be governed by, a Council to
be known as the Council of Morningside. Said Council shall
