ISA. Of the monies paid to Montgomery County under
the provisions of Section 18 above, the County Council shall
expend in that portion of the Potomac Election District and
the Bethesda Election District lying within the confines of
the Montgomery County Suburban District as created by
Chapter 459 of the Acts of 1931 and the amendments thereof,
a share of such funds in the ratio which the population of
such portion of said election districts (figured on the best
and most reliable figures available in the opinion of the
County Council), bears to the total population of the County;
and the said County Council shall expend in that portion
of the Wheaton Election District and the Colesville Election
District lying within the confines of the Montgomery County
Suburban District as created by Chapter 459 of the Acts of
1931 and the amendments thereof, a share of such funds in
the ratio which the population of such portion of said elec-
tion districts (computed in the same manner as above),
bears to the total population of the County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition and 1947 Supplement),
title "Licenses", said new section to be known as Section
1C, to follow immediately after Section IB thereof and to
be under the sub-title "Mode of Issuing—General Provi-
sions'7, relating to the distribution in Montgomery County
of the proceeds of certain license fees paid over to that
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition and
1947 Supplement), title "Licenses", said new section to be
known as Section 1C, to follow immediately after Section IB
thereof and to be under the sub-title "Mode of Issuing—Gen-
eral Provisions", and to read as follows:
