Hundred ($1, 200. 00) Dollars a year, which may be payable
monthly and which shall be accepted by him in lieu of reim-
bursement for all personal expenditures and disbursements
made by him for the above mentioned purposes.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That if any word, phrase,
clause, sentence or other part or parts of this Act shall be
held unconstitutional, such unconstitutionally shall not af-
fect the validity of the remaining parts of this Act or of any
one section or part thereof. The General Assembly hereby de-
clares that it would have passed the remaining sections or
parts of this Act if it had known such word, phrase, clause,
sentence, part or parts or sections would be declared unconsti-
tutional.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted. That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by
three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
631 of the Code of Prince George's County (1943 Edition,
being Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Green-
belt"; to repeal Section 632 of said sub-title and to enact a
new Section 632 in lieu thereof; to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, Section 641 of said sub-title, sub-heading
"The Council"; to repeal and re-enact with amendments,
Sections 643, 645, 646, 647, 648, 649, and 651 of said sub-
title, sub-heading "Elections", to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Sections 664 and 673 of said sub-title, sub-
heading "Administrative Service"; to repeal and re-enact
with amendments Sub-section (5) of Section 691 of said
sub-title, sub-heading "Taxes"; amending generally the
Charter of Greenbelt, and changing the corporate name
thereof.
