matching Federal or State funds for the above purposes.

The foregoing amounts are intended as the approximate
amounts to be expended on each project named. The archi-
tect's estimate for the project, including equipment, shall
not be more than five per cent. (5%) under the amounts
set forth above and shall not be in excess of any of such
amounts, which estimates are to be submitted to the State
Department of Public Improvements for verification prior
to submission for bid.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That any bonds
issued under the provisions of this Act shall be in coupon
form, but may be made registerable as to principal, shall
be issued on the serial maturity plan, and shall be known
as "Public School Bonds of Caroline County of 1949";
the Board of County Commissioners shall by resolution
adopt the form of said bonds, fixing the date of issue, the
denominations, place of payment, the maturities, provided
that all of said bonds shall mature in not more than twenty
(20) years from the date of issue, the rate of interest, or
the manner of determining the same when the bonds are
offered for sale, the form of advertisement, and all of the
other details in connection therewith.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the Board of
County Commissioners for Caroline County is hereby
directed to borrow upon the faith and credit of said
County from the "General Public School Construction
Loan of 1949" or by the issuance of bonds an amount
which when added to any other available State or Federal
Funds shall equal Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dol-
