tain, alter and repair said streets, alleys, lanes and public
grounds, and make such improvements thereof and thereon
as may, from time to time, seem to be necessary as herein
provided.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1950.

CHAPTER 434

(Senate Bill 155)

AN ACT to repeal Section 113 of Article 15 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Kent County", sub-title "Chestertown", as said section
was enacted by Chapter 101 of the Acts of 1931, said
section directing the County Commissioners of Kent
County to pay a certain sum of money annually to the
Mayor and Council of Chestertown for Street
maintenance.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 113 of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title Kent County",
sub-title "Chestertown", as said section was enacted by
Chapter 101 of the Acts of 1931, be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1950.

Approved April 29, 1949.

CHAPTER 435
(Senate Bill 156)

AN ACT to repeal Section 279 of Article 15 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Kent County", sub-title "Millington", said section
directing the County Commissioners of Kent County
to pay a certain sum of money annually to the town of
Millington for street maintenance.
