annually the following payments for office, traveling and
other expenses:

(1) The State's Attorney of Baltimore County shall
have the authority to appoint such clerical assistants as
may be provided by local law.

(2) The State's Attorney of Charles County shall receive
$400. for secretarial services.

(3) The State's Attorney of Dorchester County shall
receive $1, 200. for secretarial services.

(4) The State's Attorney of Frederick County shall
receive $1, 000.

(5) The State's Attorney of Garrett County shall re-
ceive $1, 000. for postage, office and traveling expenses up
to December 31, 1950. Thereafter, he shall receive $600.
for such expenses.

(6) The State's Attorney of Howard County shall re-
ceive $1, 000.

(7) The State's Attorney of Kent County shall receive
$600. for the year 1949 and each year thereafter.

(8) The State's Attorney of Montgomery County is
authorized to appoint two clerks at a salary of not exceed-
ing $125. monthly for each.

(9) The State's Attorney of Washington County shall
receive $1, 500. for the expenses of his office.

(10) The State's Attorney of Wicomico County shall
receive for 1949 and each year thereafter, $2, 000. to cover
office expenses, including stationery, postage, premium on
official bonds and clerical services.

(11) The State's Attorney of Worcester County shall
receive an expense allowance of $2, 500. for the year 1949
and each year thereafter, plus such further allowance as
shall be approved by the County Commissioners of that
county for the performance of the official duties of his
office that are necessary or may hereafter be required by
law.

(1) No State's Attorney shall receive any other com-
pensation, commission or emolument of any kind for per-
forming his duties as State's Attorney, except his neces-
sary traveling and other expenses in trying cases removed
to Baltimore City or to another County, but any fees to
which he is entitled shall be collected and paid over to the
