to the general funds of the County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 729
and 730 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County, " sub-
title "State's Attorney, " Section 730 thereof having been
amended by Chapter 787 of the Acts of 1947; Sections 796
and 797 of Article 22 of said Code, title "Washington
County", sub-title "States Attorney", said sections having
been amended by Chapter 520 of the Acts of 1947; and
Sections 1176, 1177 and 1178 of the Code of Montgomery
County (1947 Edition, being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "State's Attorney", be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from June 1, 1949.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
53 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1947 Supplement), title "Elections, " sub-title "Nomin-
ations and Primaries, " relating to the number of ballots
to be printed for primary elections.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted 'by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 53 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1947 Supplement), title "Elections, " sub-title
"Nominations and Primaries, " be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
53. (a). Official ballots shall be prepared and printed
for such primary elections in Baltimore City and in the
several counties, respectively, by the said several Boards
of Supervisors of Elections for said City and said several
counties, respectively, as is now provided by this Article
for general elections, except as otherwise provided for in
this sub-title, and except that on the back and outside of
all such official ballots shall be printed only the words
"Official Ballot For", followed by the designation of the
