insofar as its terms and provisions may be made to be
applicable to the purposes of this Act, whenever the words
"municipal primary election" or "primary election" shall
appear, this shall be construed to mean "municipal general
election" hereafter held in the City of Baltimore, except
in those cases when such a construction would be unreason-
able or contrary to the Constitution and laws of the State
of Maryland and the Charter of the City of Baltimore.

330. Whenever the condition which resulted in the
issuing by the Governor of the Proclamation on May 21,
1942, in accordance with Section 304 of Article 33 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), as it, or any
amendment or amendments, or additions thereto, or
changes therein, existed before its repeal by this or any
other sub-title, terminates, it shall be the duty of the
Governor, as soon as is convenient and proper, by Procla-
mation, published once in no more than three newspapers
in each county and in Baltimore City, to declare this Act
terminated, and such a Proclamation shall terminate this
Act as of the date of said Proclamation.

331. Whenever the provisions of this sub-title are
enforced at any election the Board of Supervisors of Elec-
tions of Baltimore City shall be entitled to receive, in
addition to the compensation now paid to it, the further
sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200. 00) each for every such
election. The Board of Supervisors of Elections of Balti-
more City shall be allowed such further sum for expenses
and clerical hire in the performance of the duties imposed
upon it by this sub-title, as may be reasonable and neces-
sary. All said expenses shall be paid by the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore in precisely the same way as
compensation and similar election expenses are now pro-
vided to be paid by law.

332. Any person who shall wilfully sign any false appli-
cation or oath, and any person who shall wilfully do any
act contrary to the terms and provisions of this sub-title
with intent to cast an illegal vote or to aid another in so
doing, and any person who shall in any way wilfully vio-
late any of the provisions of this sub-title, and any person
who shall fail or refuse to perform any duty imposed upon
him by the provisions of this sub-title, and any person who
shall apply for a ballot under any other name than his
own, shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a
fine of not more than One Thousand Dollars ($1, 000. 00)
or be sentenced to the penitentiary for not more than
two years, or be sentenced to both fine and imprisonment,
