in the discretion of the Court. In all other respects the
penalties provided in Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Elections, " and any
amendments thereto, shall apply.

333. All provisions of law not expressly repealed by
this sub-title, shall remain in full force and operation,
insofar as they are not inconsistent with the provisions
of this sub-title, and all laws, and parts thereof, and all
rules and regulations, adopted thereunder, insofar as the
same are inconsistent with the provisions of this sub-title,
are suspended hereby to the extent of such inconsistency.

334. If any part, section, paragraph, clause, sentence
or provision of this Act, or any application thereof, is held
invalid for any reason, the remainder of this Act and
other applications thereof shall not be affected thereby and
to this end the provisions of this Act are declared to be
severable.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 718.
(Senate Bill 538)

AN ACT to repeal Section 8B of Article 78A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1943 Supp. ), title "Public
Works—Board Of, " and to enact in lieu thereof a new
Section,, to be known as Section 8B, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 8A of said Article, to authorize and
provide a method for the sale, lease or other disposal
of real or personal property by the State of Maryland,
defining the term "real or personal property and any
legal or equitable rights, interests, privileges, or ease-
ments, in, to, or over the same, " and providing for the
handling of any consideration received in connection
therewith.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted l)y the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8B' of Article 78A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supp. ), title "Public Works—Board Of, "
be and the same is hereby repealed, and that a new Sec-
tion be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, said new
