CHAPTER 698.
(Senate Bill 645)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 293, 294, 295 and 298of Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Insane Asylum, " relating
to Sylvan Retreat in Allegany County.

WHEREAS, The provisions of these Sections have been
complied with and are no longer necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 293, 294, 295 and 298 of Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Insane Asylum, " be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 699.

(Senate Bill 647)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 637-639, inclusive, of Article 1
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Weights
and Measures, " relating to the standard of weights and
measures in Allegany County.

WHEREAS, Article 97 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
contains State-wide provisions as to weights and measures;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 637-639, inclusive, of Article 1 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Weights and Measures, " be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
