CHAPTER 694.

(Senate Bill 572)

AN ACT to repeal Section 809 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City
Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title
"Pawn Brokers, " relating to books to be kept by pawn
brokers.

WHEREAS, Sections 30 to 40, inclusive, of Article 25 of
the Baltimore City Code (1927 Edition), as amended by
Ordinance No. 409 of 1941, fully cover the subject of pawn
brokers; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 809 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Pawn Brokers, " be
and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 695.

(Senate Bill 616)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 270, 271, 272 and 274 of Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1030
Edition), title "Allegany County, " sub-title "Frostburg, "
sub-heading "Water, " said sections relating to a cer-
tain bond issue for water in the City of Frostburg.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 270, 271, 272 and 274 of Article 1 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Allegany County, " sub-title "Frostburg, " sub-heading
"Water, " be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
