WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 219 and 220 of the Montgomery County
Code (1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County, "
sub-title "Turnpike Companies, " be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved April 23, 1945.

CHAPTER 683.

(Senate Bill 548)

AN ACT to repeal Section 886 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland & Baltimore City Char-
ter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title
"Police Commissioner, " said section relating to the ap-
pointment of certain additional police officers.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section have been com-
plied with and no longer have any application; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 886 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland & Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Police Commis-
sioner, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved April 23, 1945.
