relating to the exemption of certain manufacturing indus-
tries.

WHEREAS, Section T of Article 81 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland authorizes the County Commissioners of the several
counties to grant certain exemptions to manufacturing indus-
tries, thereby rendering this section unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 514 of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester
County", sub-title "Tax Exemption", be and it is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

(House Bill 672)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 545-552; inclusive, of Article 4 of

' the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore

City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title

"Illuminating Oils and Fluids", relating to the inspection

of illuminating oils and fluids.

WHEREAS, these sections are the same as Sections 1-8, in-
clusive, of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition); therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 545-552, inclusive, of Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Illuminat-
ing Oils and Fluids", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945
