33. The State Superintendent of Schools is hereby au-
thorized to furnish, by means of visual and auditory aids, addi-
tional facilities for instruction in geography, history, science,
and other subjects, to the schools, institutions and organiza-
tions under the supervision of the State Board of Education.
Material collected for this purpose may, under general rules,
be lent for a limited time to responsible institutions and organi-
zations for the benefit of artisans, mechanics and other citizens
of the several communities of the State. He may from time
to time enter into contracts necessary for carrying out this
provision.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 203, 204, 205 and 206 of Article 77
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Public Education", sub-title "Colored Industrial Schools".
WHEREAS, The State laws relating to high schools and the
provisions of a State minimum salary schedule for supervisors
of colored schools with the State participating in two-thirds
of the minimum salary have superseded the provisions of these
sections; and
WHEREAS,, The appropriations for the colored industrial fund
included in the proposed budget for the fiscal years 1946 and
1947 are to be transferred by appropriate budgetary action to
the funds for part payment of salaries of school officials for
said fiscal years; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted Ity the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 203, 204, 205 and 206 of Article 77 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public
Education", sub-title "Colored Industrial Schools", be and they
are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it farther enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1945.
