lamp and every lighted spot lamp shall be so aimed and used,
upon approaching another vehicle, that no part of the high-
intensity portion of the beam will be directed to the left of the
prolongation of the extreme left side of the vehicle nor more
than 100 feet ahead of the vehicle.

(b) Any motor vehicle may be equipped with not to exceed
three auxiliary driving lamps mounted on the front at a height
not less than 12 inches nor more than 42 inches above the level
surface upon which the vehicle stands, and every such auxiliary
driving lamp or lamps shall meet the requirements and limita-
tions set forth in this Article.

(c) This section shall not apply to authorized emergency
vehicles.

SEC. 2. And be It further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

(House Bill 430)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
74(G) and 74(H) of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles",
sub-title "Administration—Registration—Titling", Sections
149, 170(c), 178(b), 201, 208, 251, 252, 258 and 261 of said
Article, sub-title "Operation of Vehicles Upon Highways",
and Section 288 of said Article, sub-title "Traffic Court of
Baltimore City", correcting errors in said sections.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 74(G) and 74(H) of Article 66l2 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Motor
Vehicles", sub-title "Administration—Registration—Titling",
Sections 149, 170(c), 178(b) 201, 208, 251, 252, 258 and 261
of said Article, sub-title "Operation of Motor Vehicles Upon
Highways", and Section 288 of said Article, sub-title "Traffic
Court of Baltimore City", be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

74.

(Class G—Motorcycles. ) Thirty-two (32^) cents per horse-
power or fraction thereof per annum for each motorcycle.
