hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
144. (Interference with Official Traffic-Control Devices or
Railroad Signs or Signals. ) No person shall without lawful
authority attempt to or in fact alter, deface, injure, wilfully
knock down, change directing or twist, or remove any official
traffic-control device or any railroad sign or signal or any
inscription, shield, or insignia thereon, or any other part
thereof.
Violation of Sections 141 to 144, inclusive, shall be deemed
to be a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punishable
by a fine of one dollar ($ 1. 00) to one hundred dollars
($100. 00).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 502.
(House Bill 405)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
72B of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title
, "Building Regulations", as said section was enacted by
Chapter 247 of the Acts of 1941, authorizing and empower-
ing the County Commissioners of Baltimore County to im-
pose on and vest in the Zoning Commissioner of Baltimore
County the power to amend, supplement or change the
boundaries of zoning districts, divisions or zones, and au-
thorizing the County Commissioners of Baltimore County
to impose on and vest in the Zoning Commissioner such
duties and powers as may be necessary and advisable for
the proper administration and enforcement of zoning regu-
lations and restrictions, and eliminating certain provisions
of said Act with respect to appointment of building inspec-
tors and the duties thereof.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 72B of Article 3 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Baltimore
County", sub-title "Building Regulations", as said section was
enacted by Chapter 247 of the Acts of 1941, be and the same
