Penal Farm.

WHEREAS, the State has already established a State Penal
Farm under special legislation and there is no longer need for
these sections; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 748 to 757, inclusive, of Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Crimes
and Punishments", sub-title "Department of Correction", be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 56.

(House Bill 103)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 761 and 761-C of Article 27 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939. Edition and 1943
Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "De-
partment of Correction", said sections relating to pensions
of certain employees of the Board of Correction.

WHEREAS, the State Employees' Retirement System includes
all employees of the Board of Correction, thereby making these
sections unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 761 and 761-C of Article 27 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition and 1943 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Department of Cor-
rection", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And 'be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
