Assembly of 1834, title "An Act to Incorporate the Antie-
tam Fire Company in Hagerstown, Washington County, "
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
1. That John S, Devine, C. William Ecton, Harry A.
Feigley, Claude E. Jacobs, Clarence Keedy, William H.
Sailes, Andrew F. Snyder, and such other persons as
now are, or hereafter may become members of the An-
tietam Fire Company, shall be, and they are hereby de-
clared to be, one community, corporation, and body politic,
forever hereafter, by the name and style of The Antietam
Fire Company; the object of which Company is hereby
declared to be the protection of the property of the citizens
of Hagerstown from destruction by fire, for which purpose
they are hereby made able and capable in law, to have,
purchase, receive, possess, enjoy, and retain to them and
their successors, lands, tenements, rents, annuities, or other
hereditaments, and the same to grant, demise, alien, or
dispose of, in such manner as they may judge most con-
ducive to the interests of the Company.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 3 and
4 of said Chapter 170 be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 434.
(Senate Bill 500)
AN ACT to repeal Section 920 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City
Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title
"Police Examiners, " said section relating to the fireman
at the Central Police Station.
WHEREAS, the provisions of this section are no longer
necessary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 920 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938
Edition), title "Baltimore "City, " sub-title "Police Exam-
iners, " be and it is hereby repealed.
