the words "piece of property" instead of the word
"article"; and appropriate words and spaces be pro-
vided for specific description to properly identify the said
real estate, including recording reference to decedent's title
thereto. The appraisers shall take the oath prescribed for
appraisers of personal estate, except that the words "real
estate" shall be substituted for the words "Goods, chattels
and personal estate", and their duties and proceedings shall,
in every respect, be the same as those of the appraisers
of personal estate.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 431.
(Senate Bill 474)
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commis-
sioners of Calvert County to borrow upon the faith and
credit of said County a sum not to exceed Two Hundred
Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($262, 000) and to issue
coupon bonds therefor for the acquisition of sites for
and construction of public school buildings in Calvert
County, and providing for the levying of taxes necessary
for the payment of such bonds.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That (a) the County Commissioners of Calvert County be
and they are hereby authorized and empowered to borrow
from time to time, in their discretion, upon the faith and
credit of Calvert County a. sum or sums not to exceed a
total of Two Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars
($262, 000) for the purposes of this Act and to issue coupon
bonds therefor.
(b) The County Commissioners of Calvert County shall
by resolution prescribe the form and tenor of such bonds;
the rate of interest, not exceeding three percentum (3%)
per annum, to be paid thereon; the dates of issue; and the
time and place at which interest is to be paid. Such bonds
shall be in coupon form, shall be in denominations of
$100. 00 or any multiple thereof, and may be made register-
able as to principal. Such bonds shall be issued upon the
serial maturity plan in such manner as the County Com-
missioners may by resolution prescribe.
