CHAPTER 427.
(Senate Bill 459)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 537 and 538 of Article 4 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland & Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-
title "Fire, " relating to injury to fire apparatus and
assaulting firemen.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections are covered by
State law; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 537 and 538 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland & Baltimore City Charter
(1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Fire, " be
and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 428.
(Senate Bill 460)

AN ACT to repeal Section 428 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland & Baltimore City Char-
ter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title
"Criminal Court of Baltimore, " said section relating to
the penalty for larceny under Five Dollars ($5. 00) in
Baltimore City.

WHEREAS, the State law now provides penalty for larceny
under Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00); therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 428 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland & Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City, " sub-title "Criminal Court of
Baltimore, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
