the Superior Court of Baltimore City, if he be elected for
said city, with condition that he faithfully perform the
duties of his office and account for all funds received under
color of his office; provided, that the sheriffs elected for
Somerset, Harford, Calvert, Howard, Carroll, Cecil, St.
Mary's, Dorchester, Anne Arundel, Queen Anne's, Wicom-
ico, Garrett, Worcester, Montgomery, Kent, Talbot, Balti-
more and Caroline Counties shall be required to give bond
in the penalty of ten thousand dollars.

3. He shall give a new bond in like manner on or before
the first day of December of the second year following
his qualification in office; and each such bond shall be
recorded by the clerk administering the oath of office and
thereafter filed with the State Comptroller.

4. If any sheriff shall fail to give and offer for record
a bond as hereinbefore required, it shall be the duty of the
clerks of the circuit courts for the respective counties or
of the clerk of the superior court of Baltimore City, as the
case may be, to give notice forthwith of such failure to the
governor of the State, whose duty it shall be at once to
require the Attorney General to institute the proper pro-
ceedings to vacate the office of said sheriff and upon said
vacation to appoint a successor until the next general elec-
tion and until the person so elected shall qualify.

SEC. 2. i And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect on June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
10 of Article 66A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Ed. ), title "Moving Pictures. "

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 10 of Article 66A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Ed. ), title "Moving Pictures, " be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
so as to read as follows:

10. The Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary shall,
