of chiropody, acceptable to the Board.. Thereupon the said
applicant shall be subjected to an examination.

433. Any one who shall practice or attempt to practice
chiropody in this State without having complied with the
provisions of this sub-title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than
Fifty Dollars nor more than Two Hundred Dollars and in
default of payment of such fine shall be imprisoned for not
less than thirty nor more than ninety days. Such fines,
when collected, are to be paid into the treasury of the State
of Maryland. Nothing in this sub-title, however, shall be
construed to interfere with doctors of medicine in the
discharge of their professional duties or prevent or restrict
the commercial sale or fitting of shoes or foot appliances.

434. The Board of Chiropody Examiners may revoke or
suspend for such period as the Board may determine by
majority vote of its members any certificate which it has
issued and cause the name of the holder to be stricken from
the book of registration by certificate to the Clerk of the
Court in which the name of the person whose license is
revoked or suspended is registered for any of the following
causes:

(a) If any person, who, in any affidavit or examina-
tion required of an applicant for examination, certificate
or registration under the laws regulating the practice of
chiropody, shall make a false statement in a material
regard;

(b) Any person who shall directly or indirectly allow
or permit others than him or herself to practice under a
certificate or license issued to him or her;

(c) Any person convicted of a crime involving moral
turpitude;

(d) Any person habitually indulging in the use of
ardent spirits, narcotics, stimulants or any other substance
which impairs intellect and judgment to such an extent as,
in the opinion of the Board of Chiropody Examiners, to
incapacitate such person from the performance of his pro-
fessional duties; or who is by reason of insanity or con-
tagious disease an improper person to practice chiropody;

(e) Any person failing to pay his annual license fee;

(f) For dishonorable or unprofessional conduct;

(g) Any person who shall practice under any name
except his own true name as set forth on the license issued
him or her; uses any sign in violation of Paragraph C
Section 434A of this Act; or who shall use large display
or glaring light signs;
