HERBERT R. O'CONOR, GOVERNOR. 331

Chester County", sub-title "Hawkers and Peddlers", said
section relating to licensing of hawkers and peddlers in
Dorchester County.

WHEREAS, a State-wide law on this subject makes the pro-
visions of this section unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 365 of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester
County", sub-title "Hawkers and Peddlers", be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 24, 1945.

CHAPTER 361.
(House Bill 416)

AN ACT to repeal Section 366 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "Junk Dealers", said section re-
lating to the licensing of non-resident junk dealers in Dor-
chester County.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section would seem to be
invalid in view of the rulings of the Attorney General that
licenses cannot be imposed upon non-residents unless resi-
dents are also required to secure a license; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 366 of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester
County", sub-title "Junk Dealers", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 24, 1945.
