cient balance for the purpose of providing funds for the services
provided for by this Act.

396. Upon written notice from The North Beach Park
Citizen's Association to the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County requesting to terminate the services of any
Special Police Officer for said area of North Beach Park re-
ceived by the County Commissioners before the special tax for
the ensuing year has been placed in the budget, the County
Commissioners shall terminate the services of the Special
Police Officer, and shall cease to levy the special tax therefor.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 355.
(House Bill 410)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 496-500, inclusive, of Article 10 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Schools", said sections
relating to the Cambridge Female Seminary.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections are no longer
necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 496-500, inclusive, of Article 10 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dor-
chester County", sub-title "Schools", be and they are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
