hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 42.
(House Bill 100)

AN ACT to repeal Section 39 of Article 87 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Sheriffs", sub-
title "Fines and Penalties", said section relating to the
payment of fines collected by the Sheriff as informer.

WHEREAS, informer's fees have been abolished and other pro-
visions have been enacted as to the payment of fines collected
by Sheriffs and other officials, thereby rendering this section
unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 39 of Article 87 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Sheriffs", sub-title "Fines and
Penalties", be and the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to sanction and make valid a certain purchase, sale
and deed of conveyance made by George Paugh and Hughie
Paugh, to The Mayor and Common Council of Deer Park,
Maryland, on the 14th day of November, 1944, and which said
deed is recorded in Liber A. G. R No. 134, folio 363, one of
the Land Records of Garrett County, Maryland.
