SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Mayor
and Council are hereby authorized to expend the said
Post-War Fund for storm water sewers and such other
post-war projects and public purposes as may be deter-
mined from time to time by said Mayor and Council, not-
withstanding any limitation in the Charter of the Town
of Easton as to the amount or amounts which may be ex-
pended without the approval of the voters of said town,
it being the intention of this Act to give the Mayor and
Council of Easton the complete and full power and author-
ity to expend the Post-War Fund as hereinbefore provided.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 320.
(Senate Bill 448)

. AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
227 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
. Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County, " sub-
title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-heading "County Treas-
urer, " fixing the office hours of the County Treasurer.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 227 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico
County, " sub-title "Revenue and Taxes, " sub-heading
"County Treasurer, " be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

227. The County Commissioners shall appoint and fur-
nish the Treasurer an office in the Court House for the
transaction of his official business, and the said office shall
be open for that purpose each day of the year, Sunday and
legal holidays excepted, from nine o'clock A. M. to
five P. M. and on Saturdays from nine o'clock A. M. to
twelve o'clock Noon,

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.
