ment of notes, etc., so that the local law is no longer neces-
sary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 31 of Article 14 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Howard County",
sub-title "Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes", be and
it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
take effect June 1st, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 283.
(House Bill 475)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 201, 202, 203, 204 and 205 of
Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Howard County", sub-title "Justices
of the Peace and Constables".

WHEREAS, the provisions of the above sections relating to
Justices of the Peace and Constables have been superseded by
the General Law and are obsolete and no longer applicable;
therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 201, 202, 203, 204 and 205 of Article 14
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Howard County", sub-title "Justices of the Peace and
Constables", be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 284.
(House Bill 476)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 241 and 242 of Article 14 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Howard County", sub-title "Register of Wills".
