on public roads for wagers.
WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections are no longer
necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 422 and 423 of Article 8 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cecil
County, " sub-title "Roads, " be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.

CHAPTER 258.
(Senate Bill 183)

AN ACT to repeal Section 452 of Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Cecil County, " sub-title "Sheriff, " relating to sales of
property by Sheriff for collection of taxes.

WHEREAS, the State law relating to tax sales has super-
seded the provisions of this section; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 452 of Article 8 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cecil County, ",
sub-title "Sheriff, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved March 16, 1945.
