41. (Manufacturer's Certificate of Transfer of New Motor
Vehicle. ) Any manufacturer transferring a new motor ve-
hicle to a dealer shall supply such dealer, at the time of the
transfer, with a Manufacturer's Certificate. Any dealer trans-
ferring a new motor vehicle to another dealer shall, at the
time of the transfer, give such transferee the proper Manu-
facturer's Certificate assigned to the transferee.
42. (Transfer of New Motor Vehicle to Purchaser. ) Upon
transfer of a new motor vehicle subjecting said motor vehicle
to registration, the dealer shall, at the time of the transfer,
give the purchaser the proper Manufacturer's Certificate as-
signed to the purchaser. The purchaser shall promptly apply
to the Department for a Certificate of Title and surrender the
Manufacturer's Certificate.
46. (Purchase From and Sale to Non-Residents. ) (a) Any
person who acquires a new motor vehicle from a person located
in another jurisdiction, other than a manufacturer, shall, at
the time of its acquisition, obtain evidence of ownership on
the form required by the laws of that jurisdiction, duly as-
signed by the seller to the purchaser, or, if no such evidence
of ownership is required by the laws of such jurisdiction, a
notarized invoice of sale from the seller to the purchaser,
(b) When a new motor vehicle is sold to a non-resident, who
does not desire to secure a Maryland Certificate of Title, notice
of sale shall be forwarded to the Department by the seller
upon form furnished by the Department, within twenty-four
hours after sale.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to create a Commission on Baltimore Wholesale Fruit
and Vegetable Markets to continue the study and survey of
the market needs, publish a report of its findings, make plans,
submit recommendations for legislation and funds needed
for the improvement of these marketing facilities as part
of the State's post war construction and development pro-
gram.
