SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of Public
Works is authorized and hereby empowered to allocate such
funds as may be available and not otherwise allocated, for the
aforesaid purpose as the said Board may deem wise and
necessary; and for the purchase of such other lands as may
be recommended by the Board of Regents of the University,
and the purchase of which may be approved by the Board of
Public Works.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 929.
(House Bill 167)
AN ACT to repeal Article 72 of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title, "Oysters", except Sections 64 to
73, inclusive, as the same was codified by Flack's Annotated
Code of 1939 and the 1943 Supplement thereto, and to repeal
so much of each Article of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, 1930 Edition, as pertains to the titles, "Oysters"
or "Clams", or related subjects, and the several Acts amenda-
tory thereto or inconsistent therewith, enacted since the said
Local Code of 1930, and Sections 114, 115 and 116 of Article
39 of said Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Fish", sub-title, "Clams"; and to enact in lieu thereof a
new Article to be known as Article 72, title, "Oysters and
Clams", the purpose of which Article is to embody all the
oyster and clam laws of the State of Maryland, both Public
General and Public Local, including Sections 64 to 73, inclu-
sive, of the present Article 72, to be known as Section 8, sub-
title, "Concurrent Laws on the Potomac River", in said new
Article 72, which section embodies concurrent legislation
between the States of Maryland and Virginia on the Potomac
River pertaining to oysters.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 72 of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title, "Oysters", except Sections 64 to 73, inclusive,
as the same was codified by Flack's Annotated Code of 1939
and the 1943 Supplement thereto, and so much of each Article
of the Code of Public Local Laws, 1930 Edition, as pertain to
the titles, "Oysters" or "Clams", or related subjects, and the
