nently assigned to said division shall have the rank of
sergeant.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 4
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland and Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-title
"Police Commissioner", said new section to be known as Sec-
tion 878A, to follow immediately after Section 878 of said
Article, and to read as follows:
878A. The lieutenant assigned to the Radio Division shall
have the rank of captain and be entitled to all the rights and
privileges of those holding the said rank and the patrolmen
permanently assigned to said division shall have the rank of
sergeant.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 925.
(House Bill 802)
AN ACT to extend the limits of the Mayor and Common
Council of Riverdale, a municipal corporation, by including
therein a part of Prince George's County contiguous thereto;
providing that all existing laws relating to, and all existent
ordinances passed by the Mayor and Common Council of
Riverdale be extended to cover and apply to such annexed
territory; authorizing the Mayor and Common Council of
Riverdale to make contracts with the Government of the
United States or its agencies respecting responsibility for
municipal services to property within the annexed area ex-
empt from municipal taxes, and the compensation to be
paid for such services while such property shall be tax-
exempt; and extending the First Ward of said Town to in-
clude such annexed territory.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That there is hereby annexed to the territory of the
Mayor and Common Council of Riverdale, hereinafter called
the Town of Riverdale, all the adjacent and contiguous terri-
tory in Prince George's County described as follows:
