CHAPTER 165.
(House Bill 2)

AN ACT to add two new sub-sections to Section 13 of Article
2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Licenses", said new
sub-sections to be known as Sub-sections (12a) and (12b)?
and to follow immediately after Sub-section (12) of said
section, relating to applications for license.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That two new sub-sections be and they are hereby added
to Section 13 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1943 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title
"Licenses", said new sub-sections to be known as Sub-sections
(12a) and (12b), to follow immediately after Sub-section (12)
of said Section 13, and to read as follows:

13.

(12a). A statement as to whether the applicant has ever
been adjudged guilty of any offense against the laws of the
United States.

(12b). A statement as to whether the applicant has ever
held a license for the sale of alcoholic beverages, and if so, in
what state and at what location therein.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

(House Bill 5)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 96
of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943
Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Administra-
tion—Registration—Titling", relating to the suspension of
licenses.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
