CHAPTER 152.

(Senate Bill 262)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 12, 13, 14, 16 and 24 of Article
22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Washington County, " sub-title "Alms-
house, " said sections relating to purchase of land, erec-
tion of buildings, etc., and sale of alcoholic beverages to
inmates of the almshouse.

WHEREAS, the provisions of some of these sections have
already been put into effect and the general law relating
to the sale of alcoholic beverages makes unnecessary the
provisions of Section 24; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 12, 13, 14, 16 and 24 of Article 22 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County, " sub-title "Almshouse, " be and they
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 153.

(Senate Bill 265)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 681A-681L, inclusive, of Article
22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Washington County, " sub-title "Liquor
and Intoxicating Drinks, " as said sections were enacted
by Chapter 490 of the Acts of 1933, relating to the sale
of beer.

WHEREAS, the provisions of these sections have been
superseded by Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 681A-681L, inclusive, of Article 22 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
