SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 456-458 of Article 2 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Anne
Arundel County, " sub-title "Schools, " be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved February 28, 1945.

CHAPTER 137.

(Senate Bill 201)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 459-461, inclusive, of Article
2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Anne Arundel County, " sub-title
"Schools, " sub-heading "Teachers—Salaries, " relating
to teachers' salaries and the levy therefor.

WHEREAS, the State law relating to salaries of teachers,
supercedes the provisions of these sections; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly o j Maryland,
That Sections 459-461, inclusive, of Article 2 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Schools, " sub-heading
"Teachers—Salaries, " be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1945.

Approved February 28, 1945.

CHAPTER 138,
(Senate Bill 202)

AN ACT to repeal Section 481 of Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Anne Arundel County, " sub-title "Taxes, " relating to
the paying of taxes on motor vehicles before licenses
can be issued.

WHEREAS, the State law requires the payment of taxes
before licenses may be issued; therefore
