provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon trial and conviction by the Circuit Court of said county
shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars
and not more than one thousand dollars for each and every
day such offense shall be continued.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

AN ACT to repeal and reenact, with amendments, Section
168A of Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Cecil County", sub-title "Elec-
tions", as said Section 168A was enacted by Chapter 156
of the Acts of 1941, relating to contracts for printing ballots
in Cecil County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 168A of Article 8 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Cecil County",
sub-title "Elections", as said Section 168A was enacted by
Chapter 156 of the Acts of 1941, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

168A. The Supervisors of Elections of Cecil County are
hereby authorized and directed to ask for bids for the printing
of ballots for all primary and general elections held in said
county and shall award the contract for the printing of said
ballots to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.
