clerk of the circuit court of Baltimore City, if said person shall
reside therein, and it shall be the duty of said clerk to register
the name of said person and of the president of the board sign-
ing said license in a book kept for the purpose, as a part of the
records of his office; and the number of the book and the page
therein containing said recorded copy shall be noted by said
clerk upon the, face of said license. In case said person should,
after the recording of such license, permanently remove his or
her residence, to some other part of the State, or to Baltimore
City, he or she shall thereupon at once file said license, or
certified copy thereof, for record as aforesaid, with the clerk of
the circuit court of the county or city to which he or she shall
have so removed; said record shall be open to public inspection
under proper restrictions as to their safe keeping, and in all
legal proceedings shall have the same weight as evidence that
is given to the records of conveyances of lands. The fees for such
registration shall be Two Dollars ($2. 00), to be paid by the
person whose license is registered.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1945.

CHAPTER 824.
(House Bill 678)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "St.
Mary's County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said new
section to be known as Section 54A, and to follow immedi-
ately after Section 54 of said Article, authorizing the County
Commissioners of St. Mary's County to acquire by purchase,
condemnation, or otherwise, land for parking facilities near
the Court House in Leonardtown.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
19 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "County Commis-
sioners", said new section to be known as Section 54A, to fol-
low immediately after Section 54 of said Article, and to read
as follows:
54A. The County Commissioners are empowered and au-
thorized to acquire by purchase, condemnation, or otherwise,
