payment of one-half of said taxes as aforesaid, shall be charged
on the unpaid one-half of said taxes from the first day of July.
On such as remain unpaid after the first day of November, fol-
lowing, there shall accrue, in addition to the said interest, a
penalty of % of one per cent, for each whole month that they
may elapse thereafter, until payment or a sale for default
which is finally ratified by the Court.
455. The Treasurer of Prince George's County shall receive
in full compensation for the discharge of his official duties as
collector of taxes levied for State and county purposes the sum
of five thousand dollars ($5, 000. 00) for each year of his term
of office, which shall be payable monthly; and shall receive no
other compensation for the collection of any taxes whether
State, county, municipal, Park and Planning Commission or
Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission. The Treasurer
shall make up a budget each year showing the estimated ex-
penditures of his office for clerical help, supplies and equip-
ment, and other necessary office expenses, subject to the ap-
proval of the County Commissioners. The County Commis-
sioners of Prince George's County are authorized and directed
to levy each year such sums of money necessary to carry on the
work of the Treasurer's office as approved by them in the bud-
get. All monies payable to the Treasurer of Prince George's
County for the collection of taxes and assessments including
the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and the Mary-
land-National Capitol Park and Planning Commission shall
hereafter be paid to the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect January 1, 1947.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 39 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and Fish-
eries", sub-title "Further Restrictions in County Waters",
said new section to be known as Section 42 and to follow
immediately after Section 41 of said Article, relating to
fishing in certain waters of Queen Anne's and Talbot
Counties.
