238. The Judges of the Orphans' Courts of the several
Counties and Baltimore City shall receive compensation as
herein prescribed, said compensation to be paid monthly.
Each of the Judges of the Orphans' Court for Frederick
County shall receive the sum of Six Dollars ($6. 00) for
every day's attendance upon the session of said Court.
Each of the Judges of the Orphans' Court for Garrett
County shall receive the sum of Six Dollars ($6. 00)
for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said Court,
together with an allowance of five cents (5c) per mile for
each mile traveled in attending the sessions of said Court.
Each of the Judges of the Orphans' Courts for Caroline,
Carroll, Charles, Dorchester, Howard, Queen Anne's, Som-
erset, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico and Worcester Coun-
ties shall receive the sum of Eight Dollars ($8. 00) for every
day's attendance upon the sessions of said Court. Each of
the Judges of the Orphans' Courts for Anne Arundel, Bal-
timore, Cecil, Calvert, Harford and St. Mary's
Counties shall receive the sum of Ten Dollars ($10. 00)
for every day's attendance upon the sessions of said Court.
The chief Judge of the Orphans' Court for Kent County
shall receive the sum of Thirteen Dollars and Fifty Cents
($13. 50) and each of the other Judges shall each receive
the sum of Eleven Dollars, ($H-00) for every day's at-
tendance upon the sessions of said Court. Each of the
Judges of the Orphans' Court for Prince George's County
shall receive Fifteen Dollars ($15. 00) for every day's at-
tendance upon the sessions of said Court. Each of the
Judges of the Orphans' Court for Montgomery County
shall receive the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15. 00) for every
day's attendance upon the sessions of said Court, not to
exceed $1, 800. in any year. Each of the Judges of the
Orphans' Court for Allegany County shall receive the sum
of Twelve Dollars ($12. 00) for every day's attendance upon
the sessions of said Court. Each of the Judges of the Or-
phans' Court for Baltimore City shall receive the sum of
Sixteen Dollars ($16. 00) for every day's attendance upon
the sessions of said Court.

The sessions of said Orphans' Court of Baltimore City
shall continue from 11 A. M. to 3 P. M., if necessary, for
the transaction of business of the Court.

No mileage shall be allowed to any of the Judges of the
Orphans' Courts for attending the sessions of said Court,
except in Garrett County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the increased

compensation and, in Garrett County, mileage allowance for
judges of the Orphans' Courts shall begin with the Judges
of said Courts elected at the November election, 1946.
