AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of William L. W. Sea-
brook, Thomas J. Wilson, John Cox, J. Wesley
White, Thomas Gody, Collins, Heath and Hut-
chingson, Henry P. Horton, John Watson and
James S. Waters.

Appropria-
tions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of six thousand eight
hundred and ten dollars and sixty-eight cents be
and the same is hereby appropriated to pay William
L. W. Seabrook, for making out a list of the unpa-
tented certificates ready for patents, remaining in
the Land Office, as per act of January session,
eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, chapter three
hundred and eighteen, and for issuing certificates
of Revolutionary officers and soldiers, in pursuance
of resolution No. eighty-five, of December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and thirty-one; Thomas
J. Wilson, for printing, done by authority of
the Code committee, as per certificate of James
T. McCullough, its chairman; John Cox, for print-
ing, done by authority of the codifiers, as per cer-
tificate of Otho Scott and H. McCullough; J.
Wesley White, for articles furnished for the use of
the State Legislature, at the session of eighteen
hundred and fifty-eight and eighteen hundred and
sixty, and for articles furnished for the use of the
hill, by authority of the State Librarian; Thomas
Gody, for a desk for the Speaker of the House of
Delegates, furnished by order of the House, at the
session of eighteen hundred and fifty-eight; Col-
lins, Heath and Hutchingson, for materials fur-
nished and work done by order of the House of
Delegates, January session, eighteen hundred and
fifty-eight; Henry P. Horton, for repair of fire
apparatus and hose, by order of the House of Dele-
gates, January session,, eighteen hundred and
fifty-eight; John H. Watson, for services as lamp-
lighter at the present session; and James S. Wa-
ters, for furnishing one library inkstand, for the
desk of the Speaker of the House of Delegates at its
last session.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the treasurer, on
