AN ACT supplementary to the act of Assembly,
passed at December session, 1834, chapter 243,
entitled, An act to incorporate the Thistle Man-
ufacturing Company, and amending and extend-
ing the same.
|

SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the capital stock of the Thistle
Manufacturing Company of Baltimore county shall
be two hundred thousand dollars, and no more; to
consist of two hundred shares, of one thousand dol-
lars each, and that all such parts of the act to
which this is a supplement as authorize a capital
of three hundred thousand dollars be and the same
is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the act to which
this is a supplement, as amended by this act, shall
continue in force until the first day of January, eigh-
teen hundred and eighty, and until the last of the
session of the General Assembly which shall hap-
pen thereafter.

AN ACT to make valid the qualification of James
Anderson, surveyor, elected at the late election
in Montgomery county.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland) That the qualification of James An-
derson, surveyor of Montgomery county, elected at
the late election, be and the same is hereby le-
galized and declared as valid and effective as if he
had taken out his commission and taken the oaths
of office, and qualified within the time required by
law.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act take ef-
fect from its passage.
