COMMISSIONERS—

by inspector, and the disposition or

the same,

If tobacco is put on board of several

Vessels, lessee shall deliver separate

manifests for the hogsheads intended

for each vessel,

Duty of captains in clearance of ves-

sels with tobacco on board,

Lessee to receive forty cents per hogs-

head for tobacco relanded, and shall

cause such tobacco to be safely lodged

and delivered to the order of the

owner when required without any

other fee or reward.

Course to be pursued if any note of any

lessee be lost, mislaid or destroyed,

Any person swearing falsely, as to any

of the matters mentioned in the pre-

ceding section, he shall suffer as in

cases of wilful and corrupt perjury,

and forfeit to the injured party $50

for every hundred pounds of tobac-

co specified in such certificates, and

any person knowingly selling or pro-

ducing a forged certificate of the

oath mentioned in the preceding sec-

tion shall pay a fine not exceeding

$150, and pay the injured party $50

for every hundred pounds of tobacco

specified in such certificate,

ones are advertised,
