AN ACT appropriating a sum of money for the
payment of the claims of Joseph C. White, Syl-
vester Mudd, Samuel Hindes, George Jacobi,
George E. Franklin, H. G. Latourneau, John
Linderborn, James Wilson, Thomas P. Hamble-
ton, Robert J. Jump, Joseph H. Skinner, Henry
Medford and James E. Tate.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of one thousand four
hundred and twenty-six dollars and eighty-seven
cents be, and the same is hereby appropriated, for
the payment of Joseph C. White, collector of the
third district of Montgomery county, for overpay-
ment of his account as per certificate of the Comp-
troller; Sylvester Mudd, former collector of direct
tax for Charles county, for overpayment of his col-
lector's account, as per certificate of the Comptrol-
ler; for the payment of Samuel Hindes, former
sheriff of Baltimore city, for amount overpaid by
him into the treasury, as per certificate of the
Comptroller; for the payment of George Jacobi, for
articles furnished and work done for the Senate
and House of Delegates, as per certificate of the
Librarian and the former Secretary to the Senate;
for the payment of George E. Franklin, for costs er-
roneously paid by him, as per certificate of the
clerk to the Court of Appeals; for the payment of
H. G. Latourneau, for repair of the clock in the
House of Delegates; for the payment of John Lin-
derborn, for articles furnished and work done for
the Senate and House of Delegates; for payment
of James Wilson, for storage of the furniture and
