AN ACT to amend the fourth and fifth sections
relating to the Almshouse of Queen Anne's
county, of article seventeen of the Public Local
Laws.

4th section.
|
SECTION. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the fourth section of article
seventeen of the Code of Public Local Laws re-
lating to the almshouse of Queen Anne's county,

vacancies,
how supplied.
|
be and the same is hereby repealed, and the follow-
ing enacted as a substitute therefor: As often as
any one of the said trustees shall die, resign, re-
move out of the county or become incapable from
acting, the county commissioners of the county
shall elect one of the citizens of said county in his
place.
|

|
5th section.
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the fifth
section of the said article, be and the same is hereby
repealed, and the following enacted as a substitute
|

of trustees.
|
therefor: Any free white male citizen of the county
over twenty-one years of age, shall be qualified to
act as trustee for the almshouse.
|
|
|
In force.
|
SEC. 3. And it be enacted, That this act shall
take effect from and after its passage.

sixteen, one hundred and twenty-one, one hun-
dred and twenty-six, one hundred and twenty-
seven and one hundred and twenty, relating to
the schools of Queen Anne's county, of article
seventeen of the Code of Public Local Laws.
