SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the county
commissioners be and they are hereby authorised to
appoint some competent person to run the line
herein mentioned, and the same shall be completed
on or before the first day of May next.

Repealed.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the sixty-first
section of the eighth article of the Code of Public
Local Laws, relating to the election districts of
Cecil county be and the same is hereby repealed.

AN ACT to provide for the compensation of James
M. Schley, for certain services performed by him
in the Court of Appeals of Maryland.
|

|
Authorised
to pay.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer upon the war-
rant of the Comptroller, be and he is hereby di-
rected to pay James M. Schley, the sum of four
hundred dollars, in full compensation for arguments
made by him, under an appointment by the Gov-
ernor of Maryland, in the case of State of Mary-
land vs. N. D. Smith and others, and the case of
the State of Maryland vs. Jonathan Hendrickson
and others.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the day of its passage.
